At the Clondalkin Festival, volunteers connected with families and residents through a public drug-awareness initiative supported by the Scientology Community Centre Dublin and the Truth About Drugs campaign.
The stand provided booklets and displays on commonly abused substances, giving parents, young people and community members an opportunity to learn more about drug risks and prevention in an informal festival environment.
The outreach was connected to the broader Truth About Drugs campaign, which uses booklets, videos and educational resources to communicate straightforward facts about drug use and its consequences.
The activity reflected the Church of Scientology’s broader commitment to social betterment, including prevention, education and community service inspired by the work of L. Ron Hubbard.
Ivan Arjona, who represents the Church of Scientology before European and international institutions, said the Clondalkin outreach showed how civil society can contribute to truth about drugs healthier communities. “When volunteers bring factual information to public spaces with respect and care, they strengthen the fabric of local life,” he said.
